NOTICE OF BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

The Rogers City Area Schools Board of Education is seeking qualified and interested candidates from the community to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education. Individuals interested in being considered for appointment must be qualified to serve as a member of the Rogers City Area Schools Board of Education and must submit a written notice of interest to the Board President. The written notice should include the applicant's name, contact information, a brief background, and why they are interested in serving on the Rogers City Area Schools Board of Education.

Written notices of interest must be received no later than Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

All qualified individuals who submit a written notice of interest by the deadline will be interviewed by the Board of Education. Following the interviews, the Board will appoint an individual to fill the vacancy in accordance with Board policy and Michigan law.
